Labs 'n Life Incorporated

Empowering our youth through positive engagement and interaction with Labradors.

Targeted students from a school work with the same dog over a term, semester or year.  Generally the selected students are experiencing significant barriers to a positive involvement at school.  Work with the Labs ‘n Life “magicians” – the dogs – has consistently produced an increase in attendance and improved learning outcomes for the students.

The Learning Assistance Programme (Inc)

LAP is a student-centred and volunteer-based mentoring programme designed to assist schools to implement one-to-one learning that supports, guides and enriches the wellbeing and learning outcomes of their students from Reception–Year 12. It focuses on the wellbeing, academic, social and emotional needs of students through the powerful and positive contribution of mentors.

What's the Buzz?

'What's the Buzz?' is part of the world-wide 'positive psychology', 'positive education' and 'positive behaviours' movement to teach children and adolescents 'social and emotional' literacy' in schools, in wide-ranging organisations and at home. A social and emotional literacy program with three teaching manuals for early learners (5-8 years), primary (9-11 years), and teenagers (12-15 years).
